Governance
  • Academic Board: oversight of standards, policy, and progression.

Quality Cycle

Standardisation → Delivery → IV/Moderation → Assessment Boards → Review & Action

  • Annual self‑assessment report (SAR) with KPIs.
  • Action plans tracked by the Quality Lead and reported to the Academic Board.

  • Criteria: prior level/experience, English B2 (or equivalent), programme specifics.
  • Process: apply online with documents; interview/task where applicable.
  • Decisions: Offer / Conditional / Unsuccessful. Deferral/transfer by request.

Assessment & Moderation (Short‑Form)
  • Methods: portfolio/case logs, observed practicals, written tasks, MCQ.
  • Moderation: IV sampling, standardisation meetings; external moderation where applicable.
  • Submission: deadlines published; extensions via mitigating circumstances.
Academic Integrity (Short‑Form)
  • Original work with correct referencing; permitted tools only.
  • Breaches: plagiarism, collusion, contract cheating, impersonation.
  • Outcomes: range from capped resubmission to removal; right of appeal preserved.
Appeals (Short‑Form)
  • Grounds: procedural error, bias/unfair treatment, new extenuating evidence.
  • Stages: informal query → formal appeal (10 working days) → review panel → external route (if applicable).
  • Outcomes: uphold, amend, or re‑run process.
Staff CVs (Tutors / IV) & Org Chart

Summary profiles and verification records are maintained. An up‑to‑date organisation chart is available on request.

  • CV summaries: qualifications, assessor/IV status, CPD log.
  • Org chart: governance, academic leadership, delivery teams.
Fees & Administrative Procedures
  • Fees published on programme pages and offer letters.
  • Installments by agreement; refunds per current terms.
  • Certificates dispatched after full completion and fee clearance.
