Launch of the LEAD Business Club in Larnaca
On Saturday, 8 November 2025, the LEAD Business Club was officially launched at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Larnaca, Cyprus, in the presence of COMED CEO Dr. George Mufarrij and Mr. Laso Lasonides, Vice Mayor of Larnaca.
During his address, Dr. Mufarrij emphasized that the initiative aims to build a shared platform that brings the two business communities closer together by addressing their core commercial and professional priorities. The club will offer members exclusive opportunities including networking activities, access to specialized resources, and expert advisory support.
Mr. Lasonides highlighted the value of such projects, noting that they play a vital role in enhancing a more organized and supportive business ecosystem.
“Collaboration is at the heart of progress. Our vision is to establish an active environment where business leaders, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders from both countries can connect, partner, and expand their ventures,” he stated.
The event concluded with an invitation to participate in the upcoming “Back to the Roots” gathering scheduled for September 2026 at Le Royal Hotel in Beirut.
