- Moderation: IV sampling, standardisation meetings; external moderation where applicable.
- Submission: deadlines published; extensions via mitigating circumstances.
- Original work with correct referencing; permitted tools only.
- Breaches: plagiarism, collusion, contract cheating, impersonation.
- Outcomes: range from capped resubmission to removal; right of appeal preserved.
- Grounds: procedural error, bias/unfair treatment, new extenuating evidence.
- Stages: informal query → formal appeal (10 working days) → review panel → external route (if applicable).
- Outcomes: uphold, amend, or re‑run process.
